AFCAT Exam 2015 Selection Procedure

AFCAT Exam 2015 Selection Procedure: AFCAT is Air Force Common Admission Test conducted by the Indian Air Force. It is a common admission test for the recruitment of candidates for the Commissioned Officers cadre in Various branches such as Flying , Technical and Ground Duty in IAF. The candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria as per norms are advised to write the examination conducted by officials.

AFCAT Exam Selection Process

For Flying Branch :
The candidates for the flying branch will be selected based on their performance in below mentioned tests . They are , 
Air Force Common Admission Test AFCAT and Engineering Knowledge Test EKT . 
The AFCAT is of two hours duration and it contains multiple choice questions on various subjects like Verbal Ability, Numerical Ability , Reasoning , General Awareness, Military Aptitude , Intelligence test, Psychological Test and other tests . Later followed by Document Verification , Group Tests Interview and CPSS will be conducted for the candidates. 
For Technical Branch :
The candidates for the Technical branch will be selected based on their performance in below mentioned tests . They are , 
Air Force Common Admission Test AFCAT and Engineering Knowledge Test EKT.
The AFCAT is of two hours duration and it contains multiple choice questions on various subjects like Verbal Ability, Numerical Ability , Reasoning , General Awareness, Military Aptitude. 
The candidates will be selected in two steps namely, 
Step I : It contains Intelligence Test along with the other tests and document check . 
Step II: It contains of Psychological Test , Group Tests and Interview. 
For Ground Duty Branch :
The candidates for the Ground Duty branch will be selected based on their performance in below mentioned tests . They are , 
Air Force Common Admission Test AFCAT and Engineering Knowledge Test EKT.
The AFCAT is of two hours duration and it contains multiple choice questions on various subjects like Verbal Ability, Numerical Ability , Reasoning , General Awareness, Military Aptitude , Intelligence test, Psychological Test and other tests . Later followed by Document Verification, Group Tests and Interview .
The candidates are advised to go through the selection process completely before going to write the AFCAT examination.
