Age Limits:Applicants age should be between 18 years to 35 years for general category, 18 years to 38 years for all reserved category of SC / ST.
Education Qualification:Candidates should have BE/B.Tech from any recognized university or Institute or AMIE (India) qualification in Electrical/Information Science/Computer Science/ Electronics and Telecommunications/Electronics and Communication Engineering for AE and Degree in Civil Engineering of a recognized university or equivalent qualification for some posts. 
Selection Process: Applicants would be selected based on their performance in the aptitude test.

About Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited: Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited has three functioning zones Bangalore Metropolitan Area Zone, Bangalore Rural Area Zone and Chitradurga Zone.In the year 1999, Karnataka entered on a major reform of the power sector. As a first step, Karnataka Electricity Board (KEB) was liquefied and in its place, the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) was integrated. Later this was constitution as Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) in November 1999.In the next phase of the reform process, the transmission and distribution business managed by KPTCL were unbundled in June 2002.
