How to Prepare for GATE Exam and Preparation Tips: Graduate Admission Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all-India entrance examination that primarily tests the complete understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering technology and science. GATE entrance examination is conducted mutually by the Indian Institute of Science and seven IITs which were present in India on behalf of Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development,and Government of India. GATE is an All-India level entrance examination for aspirants who are fascinated to pursue Masters/Direct PhD in India. Huge number of students will attend for the GATE exam on every year. GATE qualified candidate would take admission in top institutes like IIT, NIT, IISC and universities etc. GATE qualified candidates are eligible for high paying job in Public Sector Undertakings (PSU).After the announcement of GATE results the organizing institute will award the score cards to the appeared candidates. GATE Examination pattern:

GATE examination is conducted for 22 disciplines the aspirants can choose any one of these. The GATE examination contains of a single test of 3-hour duration in which the question paper contains a total of 65 questions for 100 marks.In that 65 questions 10 questions is related to general aptitude.

Preparation for GATE Exam: 

Preparation for GATE depends on the so many factors such as person’s aptitude, attitude, concentration level, Basics, fundamentals, etc.aspirants must need hard preparation of 4-6 months to obtain good marks and is considered good enough for getting admission in to NITs or IITs. Study material plays an important role in the preparation. Students must attend for number of mock test; aspirants must keep solving the model papers and previous papers. Solving more and more model papers will make the student to score marks in the examination.
